Employers are more likely to find "best fit" job candidates.

Easy application for training of employees particularly in manufacturing sector. Goal is to help company stay competitive and
increase likelihood of individuals keeping jobs. Must be in SC for at least 1 year and have one or more FT employees and be
current on tax obligations.

Depending on the number of employees, the company can receive up to 90% of training cost with the employer contributing the
balance.
|
Employer contribution consists of matching amounts for tuition or instructor wages, curriculum development,
training materials,
supplies, books, equipment, travel and other costs.

or fewer worldwide, must create monthly average of 2 jobs over year. Credit claimed in second year after
creation of job and
available for 5 years per job if job is maintained. unused credit can be carried forward 15 years.

Credit is between $1,000 and $8,000 a year additional $1,000 credit for business in multicounty park or brownsfield site. Credit
may only offset 50% of taxable income

includes on-the-job training and at least 144 hours of classroom training.

worked for 7 months of the year in which the tax credit is claimed.
